The Pastoralist Sustainable Initiative (PSI) is a dynamic, women-led organization dedicated to promoting sustainable pastoralism and empowering pastoralist communities. Our leadership team, composed entirely of professional women, is passionate about addressing the unique challenges faced by pastoralist societies, particularly those affecting women and children.

The objective centres in enhancing the well-being of pastoralist women by addressing issues related to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and hygiene.
PSI adapts the Participatory Integrated Community Development (PICD), a community mobilization process that invokes a conversation with community to enable them point out resources, identify their challenges, and to come up with solutions to the identified challenges.
